To celebrate the launching of Chevrolet Aveo, an irreverent action was created.
11 Facebook pages of fictional characters were created based on the TV spot (an astronaut, a diver, a painter…). Each one was represented by a profile image, which was the first letter of the character’s name.
The action included a week-long teaser, when there was interaction between these pages (through comments) and the posts of the 20 portuguese pages with more fans. After each page commented, the comments included “Make it Happen” – the campaign’s claim.
The day Aveo was launched, all profile images were replaced by images of the new Aveo. When accessing the pages, there would be a video of the campaign and a link to Chevrolet’s Facebook page.
